June 30, 2008Well its been awhile sense Ive been on this forum. The last time I was here I had asked about leveling kits and add a leaf springs. Nobody could tell much about them. I had 285''s on the truck and wanted to run 295''s. Well after a year I finally mad the leap I was able to fit 305''s what a surprise and I think it came out pretty good. Let me see if I can remember how to post a pic.

June 30, 2008Nice work man!!! The tires look great and the truck has a perfect stance.
July 4, 2008Looks good man... I should have done that before I put the 285s on mine... I really wanted 305s... I don''t recommend cranking the keys to much wear and tear on the front end... now 50,000 miles later I think a lot of my front end noises are do to it. What all did you do to the truck? Leafs and a leveling kit? Any rubbing at all on the front end? Did you have to do any trimming?
July 4, 2008All I had to do is change shocks the factory ones were to short not allowing the truck to come up equal with the back. Just got longer shocks and it rides like a cloud.
July 4, 2008What kind of shocks did you go with? I am planning on getting some 285/75/R16''s on my truck and cranking my t-bars some. Right now I have the Bilsteins which were already on the truck when I got it but I have alot of thread on my bolts to crank a lil.
July 4, 2008When I just cranked the t bars the stock shock worked good enough. Only when I put the leveling kit is when I went to a longer shock Rancho 5000 3-4 inch lift. I think u can special order a two inch longer shock from Rancho but the 3-4 inch shock worked just fine for me.
July 4, 2008The pic above was before I put the new shocks so the new shock let the trucks front end come up more.
July 4, 2008looks good! what kind of shocks did you go with and could you post a pic of your CV''s?
July 4, 2008Looks great, real clean looking truck man
