May 12, 2010I wouldnt go any taller, but I think you might be able to fit some 305`s. probably really depends on the width of the rim and backspacing.
May 12, 2010Well it`s a 9 inch rim..aftermarket...with a good offset, special order...more offset to it. anyone running a bodylift out there?
May 12, 2010i would prob stick with 285s....if there is plenty of room it wont look funny and when they wear down you can go bigger if you want....thats what i would do but goodluck with it!
May 12, 2010this is my old truck i got rid of w/ 285/75/r16`s and a 3" body lift
hope it helps you out some. i`d personally go with 305 or a size up cause i now have a 92 Z71 w/ 285`s with no lift and no trimming
May 13, 2010I agree with stickin with 285`s because the NB Chevy`s don`t seem to be able to squeeze as big of tires in there as before. Plus then you can get a beefy tread!

May 13, 2010Thanks for the help guys...I`ll post the pics when I get the new tires on.
May 13, 2010The new trucks, a leveleing kit is strictly a levleing kit. It doesn`t allow for any bigger tires, just brigs the front level. But I would think that with a body lift you could fit something bigger than a 285. Even with a aftermarket wheel you need to be careful not to get a tire thats to wide.
