June 21, 2007The other day i was leaving work for lunch & noticed that their was water running out of the top part of the panel where the seat belt & the back up senser lights are on the pillar. Yes it rained a little that morning. Where do you think it is coming from? rear window or did they not seal the cab all the way. Yes my truck has a sunroof & yes it was closed. But dont think it is that. Let me know if you have this problem.

June 21, 2007i havent heard of that..... maybe have the dealer check it out??
June 23, 2007I have the NBS x-cab and I noticed water dripping from the driver rear seatbelt opening the last time it rained here.
June 23, 2007I have no leak here but will keep an eye on it. Check and make sure your rear doors are completely closed. I had to adjust my driver side rear door because I had to slam it to get it to shut properly.
June 23, 2007I have an EC as well. No leaks there yet, or at least that I have seen and we have had some real down pours, but I will keep an eye out.
June 23, 2007Well I am taking it to the shop on Tuesday to finish up the rest of the
body work. Yea a school bus hit me one night in a parkinglot & it took awhile for some of the emblems to come in. I really dont want this truck anymore now. I will take it over to the service department & let them look to see if they can find the problem. I sure hope so. Thanks for the replys.
June 24, 2007New member and first post. Hello everybody!!! Profile not complete yet but I have 07 NBS 1500 LT Extended cab 6.0
I, too, had water leaking into the cab. Found out when the passenger footwell was full of water. Since it was a Saturday afternoon, I was concerned that the carpet and padding would turn moldy. I pulled up the carpet and padding to dry it out, then took it to the dealer the following week. We both thought it was a bad seal on the door molding by the front door but two weeks later, it leaked again. Not wanting to leave it up to the dealer, I searched for the leak with a water hose. First, I removed the rocker panel covers, or whatever they are called and started with the water hose. Ran water everywhere I could on the front of the cab but found nothing. I then went to the back. I have a power rear sliding window. This option is installed like windshields, basically glued in place. I found an irregular body seam on the lower right corner of the window. This is where the water was coming in. I ran water here, and within 15 seconds, I could see a trickle running in the cab. The dealer had to have the window removed and resealed but all is well now.
June 24, 2007I too have a Crew Cab and have not noticed any water leaking into the cab.. Then again, I have not looked for any either, I will check soon and let you know.. Thanks for the heads-up..OKieneck
June 26, 2007I took it in today. They did not get it to leak. I find it funny because before i took to the shop i washed it at the car wash & a little water came in in a different spot like the rear window was leaking. Other people have had the problem so they are going to order me a new center brake light. They noticed that there was some hair line cracks around the screw holes and that may be were the water is coming from. They said that its not keeping a tight seal. We will see if that fixes the problem but I dont think it is going to fix it. I think that they need to reglue the rear window.
June 28, 2007There was something similar to your problem that I watched on youtube. A guy video taped water leaking from his new dodge caravan to show the guys at the dealership that he wasnt bs'ing because everytime he took it back they said there wasnt anything wrong with it so he video taped it for evidence to show them.
